As a school PTFA we know that you are regularly on the hunt for event ideas that can return a profit.

Unique and great for those students who love music, but may not enjoy loud music or have ‘dance anxiety’, this headphone experience allows them to be in their own world whilst also connecting with others listening to the same channel.

Watch everyone dance, sing and laugh whilst tuning into one of three different channels of music.

Whilst it isn’t truly “silent” there is no thumping bass from a speaker, nor everyone shouting to hear each other.

We setup the equipment (inc. disco lights), provide headphone instructions and will DJ the event.

We only work with schools in our local area to provide a personal, efficient and cost effective solution. Our DJ is DBS checked.

We cover; Market Harborough, Kettering, Desborough, Rothwell, Corby, Uppingham and all the villages in-between.

How does the equipment work?

Headphones

Select from one of three channels of music to listen to and you control the volume. The soft padded headphones flash to the music and light up in a different colour depending on the channel you are connected to.

Transmitters

The three transmitters emit the music signal on different frequencies and have a range of up to 150 metres!

Music

We provide the music on our equipment with 1,000s of tracks on different playlists suitable for the year groups attending. We welcome an adult or pupil to be a DJ with us and connect their music playing device!

How much money can the PTFA make?

We recommend charging an entrance fee of £5.

To breakeven this means that you need to hire;

20 headphones for the 1 Hour Disco

30 headphones for the 2 Hour Disco

Every headphone after this earns you a £5 profit

FAQs

Yes and we recommend from ages 5+. The “master volume” is controlled by the DJ meaning that the maximum volume any set of headphones can receive is limited.

Yes, our DJ has a DBS certificate which is available upon request.

Yes, definitely! We provide various adapters to connect phones, tablets, PCs etc. It’s a lot of fun when there is someone else to compete with our DJ for the most amount of listeners tuning into their channel!

We require up to one hour to set up everything up and then only 30 minutes to pack everything away.
